Producing an ePUB book to your specifications is a multi-phase process:
Phase 1 It all begins with your finished manuscript, usually in the form of a PDF, Word, or RTF document. A teleconference is scheduled to discuss the structure of the document (cover art, copyright page, table of contents, etc.) and any special style requirements peculiar to your book.
At this point an estimate can be made of the amount of work involved and a price quotation for the entire project will be provided. Books that are largely text based cost less generally than books with many pictures, charts, tables, etc.
A first draft of your book in ePUB format is then generated for your review.
Phase 2 You scrutinize the first draft and make notes of any changes or corrections. We recommend that you look at it on several different eBook readers to spot any anomolies that may not be evident on all devices. A second teleconference may be necessary to go over your notes and instructions together.
A corrected draft of your book in ePUB format is then generated for your approval. Several iterations may be produced in Phase 2 before your book is ready for publication.
Phase 3 Upon approval, the final ePUB version of your book is assembled, suitable for sale and electronic distribution.
